Last Sunday, we went with our daughter Anna to Haiti with Franklin Graham and his team.  It was a weekend event in Port au Prince to bring the gospel and encouragement to the people, marking almost a year since the devastating earthquake.  Today IS the one year anniversary of the earthquake, and we ask you to join us in lifting up the nation in prayer.  There is still much to do in the way of cleanup and reconstruction (in fact, we heard that only 5-10% of the rubble has been cleared in the city!) but even more heart-breaking is the psychological and spiritual toll that the disaster has produced.  PLEASE pray for the Lord to heal the Haitian people, in mind, body and spirit!

Another nation close to our hearts also needs our prayers…as most of you know, Australia is experiencing terrible flooding.  Our Nashville flood last May is still fresh in our minds (we are actually repairing our house now from major damage to our foundation – even though we live high on a hill! Go figure!)  So we are asking the Lord for mercy for that country as well.  Our favorite Aussie, band member/videographer extraoidinaire Matt Smallbone, has many family and friends down under.  We’re praying Matt!!
