What is your resolution?
Every "New Year" we all make commitments that we're going to do something DIFFERENTLY than the year previous; or in many cases recommit ourselves to doing.
So, here's one simple question, that we'd like to know: What is YOUR resolution? This blog will be live all year long so you can come back and check in and remind yourself and others what commitment you've made to yourselves.

| Revival - 2010-01-09 |
| I want the fire of revival to re-ignite in my heart, my family, friends, church, and everywhere else God leads. I want to re-dedicate what God has put in me for His glory, and i pray for strength to carry out His will in my life...Writing this reminds me of a little poem that I oftentimes refer to: " As children bring their broken toys, With tears for us to mend; I brought my broken dreams to God, Because He was my friend. But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help, with ways that were my own. At last I snatched them back and cried "How could you be so slow?", "My child," He said, "What could I do? You never did let go..." -author unknown... I want God to be in complete control of my life, not just of some things, but of everything. With Him in the lead, i want to help spark the fire of revival to those around me. Most importantly, i want to do this His way, not the way myself or others think it should be done. |

| My new year resolution is to brush up my English. And my dream is to see your concert someday.
I haven't studied English recently because I've been busy taking care of my kids since my first son was born 4 years ago.
I knew your songs when I was a high school student. I love your music, and also hope that I and my husband will keep a nice relationship as you do. |

| My church's ("Heaven's Gate", Timisoara, Romania) resolution for 2010 is "To be liked by God" meaning to live a life for the Lord, in holiness and obedience of Him. May He help us all do this and prepare for His return! God bless! |

| My New Year's resolution is living a Christlke life being healthy so do my entire family and being able to have an A+ in my two engineering class not only in those two classes until my graduation .I'm waiting on God for a miracle . | My thoughts are with those in need, as I have been one for over a year now...ignored and often not believed..I have experienced great need now I want to take what I have learned and truly give myself back.I have received mercy and grace, I have worked behind the scenes never really daring myself to lead because of fear ironically I have spent much of my life and creative ability giving to others that don't even know it, or have the ability to recognize it;time to quit waisting it on the proud.
I am really ready to move forward and pour myself out for my kids and others like never before. |

| My 2010 resolutions this year were thought out well, I'm currently working on a blog post about them @ my blog adkinsdailypress@blogspot.com but to be short & sweet....I have read every twilight book, but have never read the Bible 100% all the way through, but in 2010 this will change! I'm reading the entire Bible through. I want to finally get my dream job as a firefighter & EMT, I will graduate from Volstate on May 8 with my EMT, and since I have passed every test with the fire dept. I am aiming to be "Bev Adkins, firehouse girl" before 2010 ends. {Praying to be on the OTHER SIDE of the unemployment ratio} I want to be a better wife & mother, by being a better christian example & leader. I want to get a good job so my huusband & I can move our children into our own home & move out of the In-laws home. They are such a blessing but we are ready for our own home! I want to get my Christmas cards sent out the day after Thanksgiving & last, but most importantly, I want to spend much much more time with my best Friend, Jesus! Thats the short list, impromptu! Praying everyone has a very blessed 2010! Take Jesus with you into the new year...the new decade! |
