A restless night sleep and photos on the TV this morning give me more and more resolve to do something to help those affected by the earthquakes in Haiti.

The question is not: “Should we help”?  The question is:  “How should we help” ?

There are many good relief organizations out there.  But two that I have found to be effective are SAMARITAN’s PURSE ( http://www.samaritanspurse.org <http://www.samaritanspurse.org>  ) and THE AMERICAN RED CROSS ( http://www.redcross.org <http://www.redcross.org>  ).

Imagine what even a small gift can do for the poorest people in the Western Hemisphere.
