This year has been a catastrophic year considering all of the "issues" happening in the world.  Japan's earthquake and tsunami, the world's economy, tornadoes and flooding in the United States heartland...  it just feels like we could keep going on and on.  There are so many in the world hurting that need our support and prayers... please don't forget all of these people.

However, right now there is a drought occurring on the "Horn of Africa" that has already killed 29,000 children over the last couple months.  12.4 million people, more than the populations of Los Angeles and New York City COMBINED, are desperately in need of food, clean water, and basic sanitation.  Many of the natural disasters that have happened around the world are not preventable, we can pull together to help in clean-up efforts - but THIS is different, we can stop this from getting worse and these people need our help!
