Hey all -

Hope your summer is going great.  It is an amazing time here in Nashville.  Highs in the mid-70’s and cool enough at night you need a jacket!  I’d like to thank our Canadian friends for sending this cool weather our way!  If this is Global Warming - - bring it on!!!

I wanted to tell you all about an experience I had this week.  I was invited to Colorado for a very special event held at the VISTA VERDE Ranch in Clark, CO.  You all know that I love Colorado.  And I’ve been to some beautiful places.  But, I have to tell you, the experience at the Vista Verde was completely off the chart.  The facilities are fabulous, the staff are the nicest people you will ever meet and the horses are the finest I’ve ridden – anywhere.

I was lucky enough to be able to take Emily with me and I may just win Dad-of-the-Year for this one!  We had such a great time.

This was my first trip there - - I promise it won’t be my last!  The Smith Family may have just found a new vacation spot!
